Artist as Catalyst Miami 2024, Application
2024 marks the third year of Artist as Catalyst Miami (AAC). The Peace Studio welcomes a select cohort of artists ages 18-26 to engage in a four day intensive designed especially with you in mind. Throughout the program you will access professional development resources and knowledge on building a sustainable practice and further develop your skills on working in community

We welcome artists of all disciplines to apply. This program is right for you if you agree with three or more of the statements below:
- I am an artist.
- I believe I am capable of making positive change in the world through my work.
- I believe there is strength and power in community.

Selection & Eligibility
Catalysts are selected by committee via an averaged ranking system. Members of the selection committee will review and rank applications based on the following criteria.
- Artistic merit: Applicant expresses a commitment to artistic practice.
- Community Care: Applicants express a sincere commitment to serving community through their work.
- Cohesiveness: Applicants convey connectivity with their art, community, and desire to participate in the program.
To be eligible to participate in this program, applicants must meet all the requirements listed below. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
- You must be between the ages of 18-26.
- You must currently reside in Miami-Dade County or the immediate surrounding areas.
- You must be a practicing artist.
- You can commit to participating in each day of the program, June 13th - June 16th
